This month’s theme is all about organization, so today I thought I’d write to you about the Project Management System that I use, called Teamwork. Teamwork used to be TeamworkPM, but was recently shortened to just Teamwork.
There are many project management systems out there, and everyone has their own style of working and productivity. I don’t know about you though, but I simply cannot work without some sort of system to keep track of my to-dos these days, and the more clients I get, the more important it is.
I like Teamwork because it has a low and fast learning curve, it’s simple to use, it allows tasks to be emailed from your inbox, you can set up projects by client, you can bill directly from Teamwork, your subcontractors can keep track of their time in it, and you can pull many different types of reports.

There are iPhone, iPad, and Android apps so you can take Teamwork with you wherever you go. There’s also a Google Chrome extension to add to your desktop so you can access your Teamwork account to log time, send and reply to tasks, and keep up with everyone on your team.
Teamwork also has a timer app to time tasks and import to the associated project to keep track of all time spent on client work.
